One thing you might want to consider is buying classic pieces of furniture so that whenever you add to them, they will look really well; this is an important consideration especially as money is tight for most of us these days.
Making an investment in one or two key pieces of furniture after redecorating is the best way to revamp your bedroom. You need to empty the bedroom of all furniture including the bed when you start redecorating. But without a spare room, you may find that this is not very practical. The next best thing would be to give yourself access to the walls by placing all of the furniture in the middle of the room. Dust sheets will be required to cover your furniture if you are going to paint the ceiling. The last thing you will want is to find spots of paint all over your mattress or cupboard when you start putting the furniture back.

This is a way to make a boring room much more interesting and the reason for only having the paper on one wall is that otherwise it could come across as very overpowering. The best way to achieve this expensive and stylish look is with a white wardrobe as well as a white chest of drawers which will bring the attention to them and you can then add your own choice of colours elsewhere.
